Downside
Although Shagaholic is full of useful features to help you find a local sex partner, we have found some downside to this website.
- Too many explicit graphics. We are not saying that we don’t like to see naked photos, in fact we love them. What we are saying is that the site has too much of explicit photos and does not offer an option to turn them off. You can’t really use this website when on public or work computer unless you want some raised eyebrows from people who might caught you using the site. That being said means that you need to use private computer or to be in a private place to use it.
- No means of communication for free standard members. We were pretty much disappointed to find out that a standard member can’t read and send messages to other members. You can’t even use the chat or IM function unless you upgrade your account. You can send winks and ice breakers to five people each day and that is all you can do with your free account.
- Expensive monthly members subscription. With $15.99 per month on a six month subscription paid once at total of $99.94 sounds very expensive. You can do better than that with other dating and hook up sites like POF.com. They could have offered an annual subscription plan like they did before which comes down to around $9 per month. But since they have no longer offer the same, your better off with the trial subscription.
- Low men to women ratio. With 9 men for every 1 women the competition is pretty tough. This might be lower in some places with lesser population.

Shagaholic.com sounds promising. We have given the good and the bad side here so it’s up to you to weight the odds. They have a growing number of registrants so it should be good place to try and fish for a date. What we suggest is you try to create a standard profile, make it look good.
